Jordi Alba
36-Year-Old
Inter Miami CF
MLS
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Alba turned in a stellar 2024 season from his left-back position in a league that lacks defensive talent. In his first full season in Miami, Alba contributed four goals and 10 assists in 28 league appearances. His 0.40 assists per 90 and 77.75 passes attempted per 90 were both in the 99th percentile across all full-backs. As Alba turns 36 at the beginning of the 2025 season, expect similar numbers playing with Lionel Messi and company unless Father Time points to his clock, similar to a few of the studs on the Miami roster.
Assists on opener
Alba sent in four crosses, created three chances, took one shot (off target), and assisted on the opener in Saturday's 5-2 win over Nashville SC.
ANALYSIS
Alba closed out the regular season on a high note, scoring three goals and adding seven assists across the last eight matches of the season. He finished with 15 assists on the campaign, topping all defenders and tied for third overall in MLS. Alba is sure to be involved in Miami's postseason run, starting at home with Friday's first game of the Best-of-3 series with Nashville SC.
