Could be option Saturday
MSouthampton
September 30, 2021
Armstrong (calf) is back in team training and could be an option Saturday against Chelsea, according to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl. "The good thing is since this week he is training with the team. We will have a look how he is, if he's part of the squad on the weekend and we can decide what we want to do."
ANALYSIS
Armstrong was oddly called into the national team for the upcoming break despite not featuring for Southampton yet this season. It's hard to see him starting Saturday, but there will undoubtedly be minutes available to him if he's ready to play off the bench.
