Suffers setback
Zendejas played 17 minutes as a substitute Saturday against Cruz Azul but left with a recurrence of a muscle injury that had bothered him in recent weeks, Julio Ibanez of TUDN reports.
ANALYSIS
Zendejas returned too soon from his issue and is now highly unlikely to appear in the double week against Puebla and Mazatlan. He was introduced in Victor Davila's (undisclosed) place after the latter got hurt in the first half of the rivalry match. The Azulcremas are expected to be without Zendejas, Davila and Isaias Violante (hamstring) for at least one contest, so Brian Rodriguez could finally be used on the right side, although it was Alvaro Fidalgo who came in for Zendejas on Saturday.
