Oyono went under the knife to repair an internal malleolus in his right ankle, Frosinone announced.
ANALYSIS
Oyono has been out for multiple months due to an ankle sprain and, while he seemed close to coming back a couple of times, he eventually required surgery to heal fully. He'll be sidelined for the rest of the season and look to recover for the start of the next one. Nadir Zortea, Pol Lirola and Emanuele Valeri have been the top options in his role in recent rounds. He closes his maiden Serie A campaign with one assist, 11 crosses (three accurate), 37 tackles and 27 clearances in 16 appearances (14 starts).
