Benjamin Arthur

ANALYSIS
Arthur spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic after completing a deadline day move in the winter window, making six appearances across all competitions as the club secured a league and Scottish FA Cup double. He had broken into Brentford's first team the previous summer, making his senior debut in a Carabao Cup win over Aston Villa before starting a 5-0 win over Grimsby Town and featuring as a substitute in an FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday. The 20-year-old center back, eligible for both Ghana and England, has represented the Three Lions at multiple youth levels. Arthur is expected to gain valuable Championship experience during his loan spell at Portsmouth.
