Rotondi is Cruz Azul's starting left winger, and his defined return window is at least a clearer picture than the open-ended absences the club has been managing elsewhere. His extended exclusion leaves the team facing a decision between continuing to deploy Omar Campos in a more offensive zone or turning to Luka Romero on the flank. If the recovery stays on schedule, Rotondi could be available as early as the Apertura game week six or seven.
