2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kamada was a bit of a disappointment in his first season with Crystal Palace after linking up again with manager Oliver Glasner, who got the best out of him offensively with Eintracht Frankfurt. He finished last season with no goal contributions in 34 appearances (15 starts), largely playing in a midfield pivot instead of his preferred role in attacking midfield. While his playing time increased later in the season, it was mostly in a deeper role that didn't lead to much offensively. For him to produce goals or assists, he'll need to play a different role in the squad.

Out vs. Chelsea
Kamada (knee) is out for Sunday's game against Chelsea, manager Oliver Glasner told media during Friday's pre-match press conference. "[Daichi] Kamada is out for Chelsea game," he said. "Let's see if he's available for Fredrikstad on Thursday night. It will be quite tight, but he will be definitely out for Chelsea."
ANALYSIS
Kamada suffered an injury in the Community Shield win over Liverpool last Sunday and will be forced to sit out the EPL opener. The injury isn't believed to be too severe, however, so he might have a shot at returning as early as Thursday when Palace takes on Norwegian side Fredrikstad in the UEFA Conference League playoffs.
