                    2025 Fantasy Outlook

Gaya is no longer at the peak of his career, but a lot of that has been due to injuries, as he's failed to surpass 2,000 minutes each of the last two seasons. As a positive, he started 18 of the final 20 league matches last season, so there is reason to believe those injuries are behind him, and he's still the top guy at left-back. His attacking output may not be the same as it was, but Gaya still has plenty of crosses in him. If all goes well, he'll surpass 25 starts and 100 crosses in 2025/26 with multiple assists added for a touch of upside.

                  Unused on bench
Gaya went unused on the bench during Tuesday's 5-0 win over UD Maracena.
                  ANALYSIS
Gaya was dealing with an ankle issue coming into the match, but wasn't needed in a match that Valencia controlled throughout. The defender is back fit and should be in contention for a starting role during Saturday's trip to Real Madrid. Jesus Vazquez is the main option if he can't go.

                  ANALYSIS
New Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has identified several spots to fill during the transfer market, and he wants to sign Gaya for the left-back spot. Jordi Alba remains one of the best full-backs in the world, but he doesn't have competition for the starting role and Gaya would be a good addition for that spot.
