Diks has signed a contract with Borussia Monchengladbach until June 2030 from FC Copenhagen but will join the club this summer, his future club announced. "Kevin is an experienced, versatile defensive player who can be used in all positions in defense-central, left, or right. This makes us more flexible in defense. In addition, he is a really good guy who knows exactly what he wants. He will fit in very well with us," said Roland Virkus, Borussia's sports director.

ANALYSIS
Diks joined Vitesse Arnhem's academy in 2005 and made his Eredivisie debut in August 2014 at the age of 17 under coach Peter Bosz. By 2016, he had played 63 games for Vitesse's first team across all competitions, scoring two goals. He then moved to AC Florence but only featured in two competitive matches for the first team in the first six months. Diks was loaned back to Vitesse, then to Feyenoord Rotterdam for the 2017-18 season. After further loan spells at FC Empoli and Aarhus GF, he moved to FC Copenhagen in 2021. Diks quickly became a regular for the Danish club, playing 158 games, scoring 20 goals, and providing 19 assists. He will join Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer to take the next step in his career.
