Set for long absence after surgery
Mpasi is facing several months on the sidelines following successful surgery for his Achilles tendon rupture, per Corentin of Doyens.fr.

Mpasi had just been promoted to a starting role for his club after standing out with DR Congo at the World Cup. However, he has now suffered a very unfortunate injury that is expected to keep him out for much of the 2026/27 season. He posted solid numbers over his three Ligue 1 appearances at the beginning of the campaign, averaging 6.3 saves per contest. Gauthier Gallon is now the obvious option to guard Le Havre's goal while Mpasi and Paul Argney (undisclosed) are unavailable.
