2025 Fantasy Outlook
Tavernier's 2024/25 season was once again limited by injuries after he missed a couple months between ankle and groin problems. From 29 appearances (20 starts), he netted three and created five assists, solid numbers as a key playmaker for the Cherries. His numbers were largely consistent across the board, aided by a split role of set pieces whenever on the pitch. If Tavernier can stay healthy an entire season, there's a chance he'll set career highs in the Premier League with 10 goal contributions possible, but he's yet to show he can do that across the last three campaigns.
"Olimpico" goal in win
Tavernier scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and four corners in Sunday's 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest.
ANALYSIS
Tavernier opened the scoring Sunday with a remarkable direct corner kick ("olímpico") in the 25th minute, the first goal of its kind in the Premier League this season. He also forced an early save from Forest keeper Matz Sels with his second shot on target and had a further attempt blocked. The regular starter is seeing more attacking involvement of late, he delivered an assist in the Cherries last match and is emerging as a key element in their front-wide play.
