2025 Fantasy Outlook
Combining Murillo with Nikola Milenkovic, Nottingham Forest's central defense was a key part to their 2024/25 season. Murillo steadily improved in his second Premier League season and started all but two matches, playing through numerous minor ailments. He reached almost seven clearances per game to go with 11 clean sheets. He's less of a threat on sets than Milenkovic, which means he's unlikely to improve much on his two goals and zero assists, though there's no reason all of his numbers can't look fairly similar in the 2025/26 campaign.
Hopeful to face Burnley

Murillo (undisclosed) is pushing to be an option for Saturday's match against Burnley, according to manager Ange Postecoglou, per Marissa Thomas of BBC. "Every day he has improved and he wants to be ready for Saturday [against Burnley]. We're hopeful he will be available."
ANALYSIS
Murillo had to leave the field early in the club's last match due to injury, but in on the mend this week and is now hopeful to return this week when facing Burnley on Saturday. This would be a huge boost for the squad, as he has started in all four games this season. That said, he is likely to be a late call, probably needing to pass some testing ahead of the match to make the team sheet, with a starting spot probably coming immediately if fit.

Arsenal and Barcelona are believed to be interested in signing Murillo, according to Caught Offside.
ANALYSIS
Murillo turned heads with his play in the 2024/25 Premier League season and could've left Nottingham due to several teams keen on him. However, neither Barcelona nor Arsenal submitted bids for him. Expect Los Blaugranas to remain interested, but Arsenal aren't likely to follow up after signing Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie this summer.
