Watford
The Championship
Joins Watford
Boadu has joined Watford on a permanent deal as a free agent.
ANALYSIS
Boadu arrives at Watford with considerable experience across several European leagues, having previously represented AZ Alkmaar, Monaco, Twente, Bochum and PSV. The 25-year-old striker notably scored nine goals in 19 Bundesliga appearances for Bochum in 2024/25, before making 17 appearances for Eredivisie champions PSV last season. Boadu should compete for a prominent role at center-forward as he begins his first spell in English football.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Barca to make bid?
Barcelona are expected to make an approach to sign Boadu in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Todofichajes.
ANALYSIS
Boadu is widely considered as one of the top young forwards in Europe and Ronald Koeman knows him well due to his previous tenure as the Netherlands' head coach, so it makes sense for him to target the AZ star. Boadu would certainly be Barcelona's long-term answer for the striker role given he's only 19 years old.
