2026 Fantasy Outlook
Ngumoha was a hot prospect when he joined Liverpool and he's continued to pick up steam even though he's just entering his age-18 season. The winger started the final three matches of the last Premier League campaign and is in line to open the season in contention for the starting left wing role this season. New boss Andoni Iraola has successfully helped young wingers live up to their potential with previous clubs and Ngumoha has all the requisite talent to be a superstar. Liverpool are looking to replace the output of the departing Mohamed Salah and if Ngumoha continues to flash his potential the club has all the more reason to give him more opportunities in 2026/27.
Makes historic England appearance
Ngumoha played 19 minutes off the bench in England's 2-0 Nations League win over Czechia, becoming the third-youngest player to make a competitive appearance for the Three Lions.
ANALYSIS
Ngumoha made his competitive England debut just 31 days after his 18th birthday, with only Wayne Rooney and Jude Bellingham having done so at a younger age. The winger has made three Premier League appearances this season, including one start, while also logging 72 minutes in the Carabao Cup against Tottenham. Ngumoha has primarily served as a substitute for Liverpool, but Cody Gakpo's injury could open up additional opportunities after the international break as he competes with Bradley Barcola and Victor Munoz for minutes out wide.
