Robin Roefs

Sunderland
Premier
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Roefs was a revelation in his debut season at Sunderland, keeping 10 clean sheets and making 109 saves across 35 games with one of the best save percentages in the league under manager Regis Le Bris. That combination of shutouts and heavy save volume makes him a strong fantasy goalkeeper, especially impressive for a promoted side, and his form nailed down the number one spot. As a guaranteed starter his minutes are secure, and even if Sunderland concede more in 2026/27 the save points give him a high floor. He is a reliable, well-priced goalkeeper and one of the better value options at the position after an excellent first Premier League campaign.
Two saves in 2-0 loss
Roefs had two saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-0 defeat against Brighton.
ANALYSIS
Roefs made two saves but was unable to prevent Brighton from scoring two goals in the home loss. The keeper has started all six games in the league this season, keeping one clean sheet. The Dutchman has also kept a clean sheet in his opening Europa League match of the season. Early in the game, Brighton looked promising down the left and Roefs came out well to stop Diego Gomez.
