Sidiki Cherif
19-Year-Old
Coventry City
Premier
Appears once early season
Cherif has appeared in one match for 30 minutes so far this campaign.
ANALYSIS
Cherif was welcomed to Coventry this summer but has struggled for time to begin the season, with only one appearance in five games this campaign. However, he sat out the first few weeks of the season due to fitness levels, building up to be ready for the speed of Premier League play, hurting his availability to play. He does see some potential at forward, but will have to show his levels before a great deal of time comes his way, likely remaining a rotational pick at best until he sees a further breakout.

Building fitness
Cherif is still building fitness as he looks for his Premier League debut, according to manager Frank Lampard. "We see him as a striker for what he brings and what his attributes are. We're very happy, the issue is getting Sidi match fit because over the summer, when there's a possible move happening, you need to work them for what the Premier League is, so we're in that process. We'll see with tomorrow, because we feel he is in a position where he can make impact, but also for him to play a big period of a Premier League game, it might be a bit early for him, so we'll see."
