September 13, 2023
Alvarado signed with Mazatlan for the rest of the Apertura 2023 season following his departure from FC Juarez, the club announced Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Alvarado adds experience to a Canoneros defense that has been hit by the recent injuries of Lucas Merolla (knee) and Nestor Vidrio (thigh). Despite failing to become a regular starter in his last few clubs, the former USA international could be trusted for clearances and interceptions if he's able to challenge Luis Olivas and Facundo Ezequiel Almada for a center-back spot.
