Splits with coach, won't play Wuhan

Swiatek (personal) announced on Friday that she split with her coach Tomasz Wiktorowski and that she won't play Wuhan, which begins Oct. 7.

Swiatek, who missed Beijing due to personal reasons, will remain on the sidelines next week for another WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan. The recent time on the sidelines appears to be related to her parting ways with her coach of the last three seasons. It's unclear whether Swiatek will take the court before the WTA Finals begin in early November.
