Berdych (undisclosed) is set to announce in London on Saturday that he will be retiring from professional tennis, Jose Morgado of the Lisbon Diario Record reports.

Berdych has been battling injuries throughout all of 2019 and the 34-year-old has had enough and will call it a career as he plans to make his official announcement Saturday in London. Berdych was consistently a top singles player when healthy but has fallen off in 2019 due to a slew of injuries that have limited him in competition. Berdych is bowing out with 13 singles and two doubles titles to his name and is widely regarded as one of the best male tennis players to never win a grand slam during his career.
