2026 Fantasy Outlook
After spending the first 11 years of her career with Connecticut, Thomas thrived in her new surroundings with the Mercury during her first season in the desert. Over 39 regular-season appearances, the All-Star forward averaged 15.4 points, a league-leading 9.2 assists, 8.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 31.3 minutes per game while shooting a career-high 53.2 percent from the floor. Those numbers made Thomas a top-five player in fantasy points per game, and she remains one of the premier choices in the first round of drafts heading into 2026. She was an unrestricted free agent during the offseason, along with several top players, she'll return to Phoenix in 2026 and will continue to play alongside DeWanna Bonner, while Thomas could also see slightly more usage after Satou Sabally signed with New York. 2022
Thomas spent the first 11 years of her career in Connecticut but was traded to the Mercury during the offseason and will lead a new-look frontcourt in Phoenix in 2025 after Brittney Griner signed with the Dream. Thomas has been stellar in the scoring and rebounding columns throughout her career, and she's also improved as a passer in recent years, averaging 7.3 assists per game over the past three seasons. The 33-year-old is one of the most consistent triple-double threats in the WNBA and has a league-record 15 during her career. Thomas averaged just 10.6 points per game in 2024, her lowest mark since 2019. Although Kahleah Copper will be returning to the Mercury in 2025, and the team acquired Satou Sabally during the offseason, it wouldn't be surprising to see Thomas bounce back as a scorer, especially since Diana Taurasi has retired.
