2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Wings struggled as a team for most of 2024, but McCowan remained consistent, averaging 11.7 points and 8.1 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per game. Dallas played without Satou Sabally and Natasha Howard over a month-long stretch early in the season, and McCowan was slightly more productive when those two were sidelined, as she averaged 12.6 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 27.7 minutes per game. Both Sabally and Howard departed during the offseason, so McCowan could see her role increase slightly in 2025, even though NaLyssa Smith is now part of the team's frontcourt. However, even if McCowan's production simply remains steady, she'll continue to be a reliable fantasy option in her age-28 season. Read Past Outlooks

The No. 3 overall pick in 2019 has grown into one of the more reliable centers in the WNBA. In 2023, she appeared in 30 games (29 starts) for Dallas and posted 11.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 blocks in 26.1 minutes per game. McCowan ranked fifth in the league in rebounds per game and tied for ninth in blocks. Looking ahead to 2024, McCowan should have a stronghold on the starting center job in Dallas with Kalani Brown backing her up. The Wings lost a key depth piece in Awak Kuier, who will sit out the season for rest purposes, so her absence could give McCowan a slight boost. For fantasy purposes, McCowan should provide value through her rebounds, points, and blocks. She does struggle at the line, however, converting just 54.9 percent of her attempts since entering the WNBA.
