Here are some recent questions our experts have received, along with their responses. If you have a question for one of our experts, you can submit it here.

I've been offered: Baron Davis Andre Iguodala For my players: Al Jefferson Trevor Ariza Rest of my team is: C.Paul/J.Kidd/A.Iverson/C.Duhon M.Miller/S.Marion/E.Brand/A.Parker(Cle) G.Oden/M.Okur/B.Wallace/R.Turiaf I could use the Assists. But am i giving up too early on Jefferson and giving up too many 3pts with Ariza (will he keep up for 2+ 3pts per game?) What do you think?
It's a decent trade but I would probably stick with Jefferson and Ariza. So you're really hurting assists with CP3, Kidd and Duhon? The reason why I wouldn't make the deal is because trading Jefferson really hurts you depth at center. Wallace is a shell of his former self, Brand is struggling and Turiaf is currently injured. That leaves you with just Oden and Okur. Plus, I think Ariza will continue to play well and Jefferson will get better. He was on a minutes restriction early this season, but I wouldn't give up on him yet. When you factor in Baron Davis' injury history, I wouldn't make that deal (but it's close). Good luck, Eric

Hi. I'm in a 14 team 10 category league and I need 3s from waivers. Who do you think would give me what I want, Anthony Parker or Udrih since Kevin Martin will be out for while?
I would go with Udrih. Parker is essentially in a timeshare with Delonte West so he's probably only going to get 25 minutes a night. He should still be a decent source for 3's, but I like the upside of Udrih now that Martin's out for 6-8 weeks. Udrih is going to start at point guard and should see 35+ minutes. I think he could be a decent source for points, 3's and assists. Same with Andres Nocioni if he's available. He's starting at SF for the Kings now (Desmond Mason was waived) so he could be a nice source for 3's, points and boards. good luck, Eric

I was wondering if you could advise on some possible moves to my fantasy basketball team, I have a 3 player bench with 2 of my players being gaurds who are injured, Devin Harris(inj), Nate Robinson(inj) and Jose Calderon(he is one of my starting gaurds), would you waive any of these players to pick up free agent gaurds Will Bynum or Dahntay Jones, and also would like advice on Thadeus Young, would you waive him to acquire free agent Marreese Speights,Udonis Haslem, or Ryan Anderson, I also have Andray Blatche on my bench, I could waive him
I would keep the guys you have. Both Harris and Robinson should be back in 2-4 weeks and have good value (especially Harris). Calderon's off to a slow start but shouldn't be cut. Worst case, shop him around your league to see what you can get since he still has good name value. Young is off to a slow start, but I would give him time. He was awesome the 2nd half of last year and has too much talent to be cut. I think he (and Elton Brand) are just having some difficulty adjusting to the Sixers new offense. In my opinion, Young has more upside than the free agents you listed. Same with Blatche until Jamison comes back. Good luck, Eric

I was thinking about trading Greg Oden for Marc Gasol would this be wise or should I hold off for a while?
It's not a bad trade. Gasol has come back to earth over the last two games, but he's still averaging 15.4 points, 11.0 boards and 1.2 blocks over his last five. I think he should continue to be a decent source for points and boards going forward. I think Gasol will score a bit more than Oden, but Oden will block more shots. Rebounds should be about the same. It really depends on what you need. If you have blocks to spare, then I would make the deal. If not, then hold on to Oden. Good luck, Eric

Hi, I'm in a 12-team, 9 cat roto league. I need advice on how to improve my team, and if the trades i made were good. traded away devin harris, redd for amare traded away rondo, stuckey for josh smith traded away josh smith, frye and westbrook for dirk and thompson PG- Paul SG - Ariza G-Brooks SF - Iggy PF - Dirk F - Thompson C- Amare C- Hibbert Util - Oden Util - CDR BN - Hughes Bn - Anthony Randolph BN - DJ Augustin On the WW, there is sessions, chalmers, t. chandler, anthony parker. any suggested improvements?
Wow - you sure have been busy making trades! I like the first trade you made since Harris and Redd are injury risks and Amare has a lot of upside in the Suns offense. The 2nd trade isn't bad, since Stuckey is a border waiver wire guy. Smith for Rondo is pretty good value. The third trade is risky because both Westbrook and Smith had great value and Thompson hasn't been consistent this season due to foul trouble. At the end of the day, though, you have CP3, Amare AND Dirk on your squad so your team looks strong. The only guy I would think about dropping is Augustin. Bell is back so his minutes will be inconsistent. Of the guys you listed, I'd probably go with Chalmers. He should be a decent source for 3's and steals going forward. Good luck, eric

I know its early, but I'm worried about the injury issues of Leonardo Barbosa & Nate Robinson. I'm also worried about the consistency/role of Cory Maggette & T.J. Ford. I am getting killed in Defensive Rebounds right now & my league's waiver wire has Ben Wallace, Chris Andersen, Kendrik Perkins, Dahntay Jones, Paul Millsap, Chuck Hayes, & Carl Landry. Should I drop Barbosa, Robinson, in favor of any of these waiver wire guys I've mentioned to help on the boards, or should I ride these injury, poor play & inconsistency issues?
Injuries are tough to deal with, but I would ride them out since both Barbosa and Robinson aren't expected to be out for too long. Both guys have nice value since they play in fantasy friendly systems. The guys you listed to pick just aren't consistent enough to warrant a roster spot right now. The only guys I would think about adding are Chris Anderson or Carl Landry. Kenyon Martin got hurt last night (leg) and could miss 1-2 weeks and Landry is averaging 15.4 points and 6.4 rebounds over his last five games. As for Maggette and Ford, T.J. had a nice night last night and, more importantly, played 40 minutes. I'd keep him. I think Maggette can be droppped. The Warriors are stacked at SG and SF and he only played 18 minutes last night. Good luck, Eric

Hi, I'm currently in a 6 manager league.I have Westbrook,J.Johnson,B.Roy,LBJ,A.Jefferson,B.Lopez,E.Okafor,L.Scola,M.Gasol,J.Richardson,L.Williams,J.Green and JR Smith.I'm guessing I lack in 3s and assists. Who should i drop.. J.Green or L.Williams for M.Ellis? Thanks David
Hey David. I would definitely drop L. Williams for Ellis. Green is off to to a great start and is contributing in almost every category right now. Good luck, Eric
