Here are some recent questions our experts have received, along with their responses. If you have a question for one of our experts, you can submit it here.

i need to know if lowry is gunna start tonight,,which way is it leaning? i need to know before 7 central
Tough to tell because he's a game-time decision. I'm thinking he might not play tonight because the Rockets don't play again until Sunday. That would give him three days to rest the elbow injury. Good luck, Eric

12 Team, 9 Cat, Head to Head. My team: Jeremy Lin Landy Fields Brandon Jennings Jared Dudley Paul Millsap Tyrus Thomas Tiago Splitter Al Harrington Channing Frye Manu Ginobili Russel Westbrook James Harden Monta Ellis I previously asked a question and was told to get some help in boards and blocks by trading some of my PGs for some true bigmen. Was thinking of targeting players like Anderson Varejao or Marc Gasol for Brandon Jennings, would that in my favor/fair? Is there anyone else I should target? Maybe put Ellis on the trading block?
I would target a team that needs a point guard but has some big guys to spare. I would trade Brandon Jennings for Marc Gasol in a heartbeat but I doubt the Gasol owner will do that. Jennings for Varajeo is a decent trade since Varajeo's a great rebounder. I would target rebounders (i.e. David Lee, Kris Humphries, etc.) Shot blockers like Serge Ibaka will help but you aren't going to win blocks most weeks with only one shot blocker on your team. I would look to trade Jennings first or sell high on Jeremy Lin and see what you can get. Good luck, Eric

Hi, I have Wade,Kobe,Carmelo,P.Gasol,M.Gasol,Amare,Lowry and D.Will. So I'm not sure if I can drop any of them. If more than anything, I'm struggling with FG, 3s, assists, stls and blks.Got any suggestions? ---------------------------------- Dear Valued Subscriber, I wouldn't drop Lowry even if he's going to be out 2-3 weeks.  From what I've read, he has a hyper-extended elbow so he should only miss a couple of games.  Do you have anybody else that you can drop for Ginobili?  Now is the time to pick up Manu - he's supposed to play this weekend
I forgot that you are in a 5 team league. Ginobili's a good player but I don't think he's good enough to make your roster. I read that Lowry might play tonight so it looks like he's avoided serious injury. I would keep your team intact. You have some guys out right now (Amare, Melo, maybe Lowry) but your team looks strong. Good luck, Eric

Hi Eric- Turk has been horrible last couple games. Would take a heathy Corey Maggette over Turk for the rest of the season for roto play? Thanks. Paul
Hey Paul. There's no doubt that Turkoglu has been awful but I still think he has more upside than Maggette. Maggette is injury prone and, when healthy, his only fantasy value is in points and FT%. The Bobcats have some decent wing players (Gerald Henderson, Reggie Williams) so Maggette will have some competition for minutes when he comes back. Turk's game is roto friendly when he's playing well because he contributes in points, 3's and assists. Turk is still starting and getting decent minutes (averaging 30 over his last five) so I would hold on to him and hope he gets better. I wouldn't hesitate to drop him if there's a hot free agent out there. Good luck, Eric

I was wondering whether I should pick up J. Lin now and pick up DJ Augustin later? Here's my roster. J.Holiday P.George Tyreke LeBronIbaka Melo J.McGee Gortat Morrow A.Bynum J.Jack D.Gooden Al Jefferson I was thinking of dropping Morrow for DJ Augustin. I'm just not sure he's going to be out, that's why I was thinking of plugging Lin in for a little. Since I lost Gallinari, I've been trying to find a replacement. Thanks
Morrow is a two-dimensional player (points and 3's) so I would drop him for Lin. You might as well ride Lin while he's hot. I would rather have Lin over Augustin right now. Augustin's due back next week, but Kemba Walker has played pretty well in his absence. Plus, Gerald Henderson is back in 2-3 weeks and Reggie Williams is playing well. Augustin will have some competition for minutes and Lin doesn't have any right now. Good luck, Eric

I have Carmelo and Lowry on my team. If lowry's injury was serious, should I pick up Ginobilli to backfill Carmelo, by dropping Lowry? Thanks
I wouldn't drop Lowry even if he's going to be out 2-3 weeks. From what I've read, he has a hyper-extended elbow so he should only miss a couple of games. Do you have anybody else that you can drop for Ginobili? Now is the time to pick up Manu - he's supposed to play this weekend. Good luck, Eric

12 Team, 9 Cat, Head to Head. My team: Jeremy Lin Landy Fields Beandon Jennings Jared Dudley Paul Millsap Tyrus Thomas Tiago Splitter Al Harrington Channing Frye Manu Ginobili Russel Westbrook James Harden Monta Ellis Wanted to get your opinion on if you think my team has the capability of making a run for the championships if I make it to the playoffs(weeks 22,23,24 [6 teams]), currently in 6th place. Also someone in my league has dropped Gallinari, I was thinking about dropping Tyrus Thomas to pick up Gallinari for the playoff run. Thanks
I like your team but I think you need to improve your front line so you can make a run at the championship. Your only big guys are Harrington, Millsap, Splitter and Thomas. You must be punting rebounds and blocks almost every week. I would look to trade one or two of your points guards (maybe sell high on Lin) and try to get a legitimate rebounder on your team. Thomas has been really been struggling so I think you're safe to drop him. Gallinari's out for a month so can you afford to keep an injured guy on your team? You're in sixth place now (I'm assuming six teams make the playoffs) so you need to keep winning. Good luck, Eric
