Gordan Giricek

Giricek hasn't done much else but shoot so far in his NBA career, and he really doesn't do that especially well either. Giricek had the worst year of his four-year career in 2004-05, averaging 8.8 points in about 20 minutes per game. He did have a strong European championship, stepping up to lead his Croatian team in scoring and picking up some rebounds from the shooting guard spot as well, but as Jazz fans know through the example of Carlos Arroyo, playing well in international competition doesn't always translate into regular-season success. With the acquisition of Devin Brown, Giricek will have to step up his game to maintain a major role in the Jazz' rotation.

Giricek finished the season averaging 12.3 points per contest but averaged 14.3 points and 35.6 minutes a game for the Magic after making the move from Memphis. Giricek will grab a few boards a game as well, but his bread and butter is his ability to fill the basket.
