Leonard (shoulder) said that he hoped to be at full strength for the start of the regular season, but suggested he could be limited in training camp, NBA.com's Cody Sharrett reports. "As far as a timeline, it's kinda hard to put an exact date on it," Leonard said. "We're going to back to see the doctor on August 1, and we'll have definitely a much better [idea] of when, let's say a one-to-two week window, will be."
Blazers GM Neil Olshey and coach Terry Stotts have both indicated they expect Aminu to see more action at power forward than small forward next season, Kerry Eggers of the Portland Tribune reports. "We are a much stronger team when Farouq plays 'four'," Olshey said. "Our ratings with Farouq at 'four' make us project to a 53-, 54-win team [next season], whereas Farouq at 'three' has us in the mid-40s."
