RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson (ankle) will start Thursday against Louisville, ESPN.com reports.

Jackson, the team's leading rebounder and second-leading scorer, will be in uniform Thursday as the Bearcats try to stay unbeaten in the American Athletic Conference. The ankle injury forced Jackson from Sunday's win over Temple just six minutes into the game, and he was unable to practice Tuesday, but it seems he showed enough in the last 48 hours to get the green light from the medical staff.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson is dealing with a sprained left ankle and may be forced to sit out Thursday's tilt with Louisville, Joe Kay of the Associated Press reports.

The sprain prevented Jackson from practicing Tuesday and could jeopardize his chances of playing in what looks to be the Cincinnati's most important game to date as the two teams battle for control atop the American Athletic Conference. Jackson ranks second in Division 1 with 71 blocks and is top rebounder for the 13th-ranked Bearcats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jackson is averaging 11.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.7 steal, and 3.4 blocks per game this season.

Jackson is among the lead leaders in blocks and the solid points and rebounding totals are a nice addition to his stat lines. This combination makes for very valuable fantasy stat lines.

Jackson suffered a leg injury in the first half of the Bearcats' loss to Pitt on Saturday. He tried to warm up after halftime, but was noticeably favoring his left leg.

The Bearcats do not have much frontcourt depth and that situation was exacerbated by Jackson's injury and Chiekh Mbodj's foul trouble against the Panthers. Consider Jackson day-to-day until he gets his leg examined.
