Frazier led the scoring for the Nittany Lions as they pulled off an epic comeback against Indiana on Wednesday. Though his shooting percentage was not great, he managed a perfect mark at the free-throw line to help boost the team in the upset.

his numbers have decreased a bit ever since teammate D.J. Newbill joined the team, but Frazier is still the team's second leading scorer and leader in assists per game. Recently, Frazier has been turning in well-rounded games, getting at least five assists and nine rebounds in his last three games.

Frazier will miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles' tendon, the Patriot-News reports.

Frazier only played five minutes in the loss to Akron. He will have surgery on Tuesday to repair the torn tendon and will likely apply for a redshirt to play in the 2013-14 season, if he is interested in returning. D.J. Newbill will take on a larger role for the Nittany Lions.

Frazier will undergo treatment and tests at State College on Monday to determine the extent of the injury. Southern Miss transfer D.J. Newbill moved to the point position and finished with 20 points, six rebounds, and five assists in the loss.

Frazier poured in 23 points, mostly on the backs of a career-high 17 free-throws, in 39 minutes as Penn State held off St. Francis (PA) on Friday.

Frazier shot just 3-of-9 from the field, missing all three from three-point land, but hit 17-of-18 from the foul line to help power the Nittany Lions. He also tallied six assists, four rebounds, two steals, one block, and three turnovers on the night. Overall, this is a most encouraging start to the season for the Big Ten's top returning scorer (18.8) and facilitator (6.2 assists).

Frazier scored 19 points in the first half en route to 26 overall (9-24 FG, 4-4 FT) in 39 minutes Thursday as Penn State lost handily to Indiana in the first round of the Big Ten tournament. He also chipped in five steals, four assists (versus four turnovers), four treys, two rebounds, and one block for the Nittany Lions.

On Monday, Frazier was named to the first team on the media's All-Big Ten Team and the second team of the coaches' All-Big Ten Team, according to BigTen.org. During the regular season, he averaged 18.6 points, 6.3 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.3 steals in 37.1 minutes while shooting 42.1 percent from the floor and 78.7 percent at the free-throw line. Nonetheless, Frazier likely played his last game of the season as Penn State stumbled to a 12-20 record (4-14 in the Big Ten) and won't be invited to a postseason tournament.
