Allen notched a season-high 25 points (8-13 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and added three assists in a losing effort at Louisville.

Allen and Zach LeDay combined for 43 points off the bench for the Hokies. Allen was able to catch fire from deep as his six made shots from deep marked a season high. The fifth year senior has scored in double figures in 10 of his last 11 games. During that stretch Allen is putting up 15.9 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.1 rebounds in 31.7 minutes per game. He is also making 2.5 three's and hitting at a 51-percent clip from deep during that stretch. Virginia Tech will host Clemson this Tuesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had a team-high 20 points Sunday against Virginia, adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Allen's final scoring came on a game-winning jumper in double overtime. He's provided the Hokies with a nice inside-outside game, as Allen hit three 3-pointers in the contest while also attacking the rim with regularity. He could be called upon to do even more Tuesday at Pittsburgh should Chris Clarke's leg injury keep him sidelined.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had a team-high 14 points Wednesday at Virginia, adding two rebounds and an assist while playing all 40 minutes.

The Hokies were dominated by the Cavaliers' pack-line defense, shooting only 35.7 percent enroute to 48 points as a team, with only two players reaching double-figures. Since missing a game due to a concussion, Allen has has scored at least 11 points in seven-straight games. It's seems safe to expect that streak to extend over the weekend at Miami.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen provided 17 points (6-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two assists off the bench to help his team take the win over Georgia Tech on Wednesday.

Allen made a game-winning layup with 15 seconds left to move Virginia Tech to 14-4. His 17 points tied a season high for the senior. Allen has raised his efficiency from last season, shooting 56 percent from the field and 47 percent from deep which is up from 39 percent from the field and 28 percent from long range last season. A concern, however, would be Allen's free-throw percentage which sits at 57 percent. His previous season low was 74 percent. The 6-1 guard will look to continue to provide an efficient scoring punch off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen posted 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, and two rebounds over 31 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's win over Syracuse.

After missing Saturday's game with a concussion, Allen returned to the fold and played heavy minutes in a significant conference win over the Orange. It was unclear during warmups whether Allen would be able to play a full complement of minutes, but he was able to deliver 31 quality minutes and score in double figures for the fourth time in five games. Allen also trimmed down on his turnovers, committing just one after turning it over six times in his last outing. The Hokies return to action Saturday against Notre Dame.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen (concussion) is in uniform and expected to be available off the bench Tuesday against Syracuse, Mike Barber of the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

There had been some doubt regarding Allen's availability as he was not on the floor 15 minutes prior to tipoff, but he rejoined his teammates in the layup line in the latter portion of warmups. Although he's not starting, Allen is expected to be available off the bench for the Hokies.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen (concussion) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Syracuse but he could be available off the bench, Mike Waters of Syracuse.com reports.

Allen was on the floor for pregame warmups early Tuesday, but he was not present in the Virginia Tech bench area shortly before tipoff. It appears that Allen is a true game-time decision, and the fact that he's not starting makes him a somewhat risky play Tuesday. If he does play, there is a chance his minutes will be limited.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen (concussion) is in uniform and warming up in advance of Tuesday's game against Syracuse, Norm Wood of the Daily Press reports.

Allen's presence at warmups is a positive sign for his status ahead of Tuesday's conference showdown with a Syracuse club that's coming off a resounding win over Pitt. He missed Saturday's loss to Florida State due to a concussion and had been considered a game-time call heading into Tuesday, but it appears that Allen could be available. Allen has been one of the Hokies' key contributors off the bench this season, averaging 10.7 points in 26.6 minutes per game.
