Hield was held to nine points (4-12 FG, 1-8 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 36 minutes of play during Saturday's Final Four blowout loss to Villanova.

Hield ended his college career on a sour note, after losing in what became the biggest Final Four blowout in history. Hield however, won the Naismith National Player of the Year award on Sunday. He is expected to enter the NBA Draft, as he has exhausted all of his collegiate eligibility. Hield, in his senior season, averaged 25.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.1 steals in 35 minutes per game.

NCAA Championship Preview: Villanova vs. North Carolina

The Wildcats bring hot shooting and solid defense to the table for their matchup with North Carolina, but will it be enough to contend with their size and talent?

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hield had 37 points (13-20 FG, 8-13 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and four rebounds in 39 minutes during Saturday's win over Oregon.

Hield hit an impressive eight three-pointers to lift his team into the 2016 Final Four, even though Oregon's defense forced him to commit six turnovers. The senior is making a strong case to be the National POY, carrying the team on his back through strong shooting and senior leadership. Hield has scored 17 or more in each of the NCAA tournament games he's played in this season. Villanova's defensive effort will likely be focused on slowing down Hield in the Sooners next game, however this task is easier said than done.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hield collected 36 points (11-20 FG, 6-14 3Pt, 8-10 FT) and seven rebounds over 36 minutes in Sunday's victory over VCU.

Hield was an efficient 5-6 on two-point field goal attempts while bringing his regular three-point shooting ability to the table. The senior now has 63 total points through two NCAA tournament games, and if he can continue that hot shooting, Hield and the Sooners shouldn't have a problem getting past Texas A&M en route to the Elite Eight. The Aggies will have something to say about that, however, as they have allowed opponents to shoot just 33 percent from beyond the arc this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hield notched 27 points (8-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), along with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in Friday's win over CSU Bakersfield.

Hield proved once again why he's the nation's top player, as he scored a game high 27 points across 39 minutes of play. The senior guard is averaging 25.0 PPG and 5.6 RPG and he's fully capable of taking this team to the Final Four and beyond. Hield will get a second round matchup against an athletic VCU team on Sunday, as he'll look to continue the top level production that he's provided throughout the entire year. Hield will get a lot of shots up in that game which is great news for fantasy owners.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hield tallied just six points (1-8 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), along with six rebounds and two assists in Friday's loss to West Virginia.

The Mountaineers defense gave Hield fits all night on Friday, limiting him to just eight shots from the field across 37 minutes. The Wooden Award front-runner had his worst performance of the year in the 69-67 loss. There is no reason to be concerned for fantasy owners and he should be considered through each and every round of the NCAA tournament, assuming his team is playing. Hield is still averaging 25.6 PPG and 5.6 RPG.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hield notched 23 points (8-19 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 3-4 FT), along with four rebounds, two assists and a steal in Tuesday's win over Baylor.

Hield scored 19 of his 23 points in the first half and just four in the second half. The Sooners were up 21 at halftime, but Baylor came out with a new game plan in the second half, which was to try and deny Buddy the ball. He still managed to score 20-plus points for the third time in the last four games, and he's currently averaging 25.3 PPG and 5.4 RPG. Hield is arguably the most elite scorer in the country, and he should be considered each and every night in the DFS world.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hield notched 33 points (12-24 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 3-3 FT), along with six rebounds, one assists, one steal and two blocked shots in Saturday's loss to Texas.

Hield logged 39 minutes in this contest, and he certainly made the most of them, like usual. The senior guard shot 50 percent from the field and 46 percent from long range on his way to a cool 33 points, which now gives him nine 30-plus point performances on the year. Hield is one of the leading candidates to win the Wooden Award, and Saturday's performance certainly helped his cause. He committed just one turnover over 39 minutes in this game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hield notched 29 points (9-21 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-7 FT), along with four rebounds and one assist in Saturday's road win over West Virginia.

After scoring just 16 points on Wednesday at Texas Tech, Hield rounded right back into form on Saturday when he torched the high-pressure defense of West Virginia. The Wooden Award front-runner drilled five shots from long range on his way to a game high 29 points. Hield was just one point shy of topping the 30 point mark for the ninth time this season, and he's now averaging 25.4 PPG to go along with 5.5 RPG.
