Zierden came off the bench to scored 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with four rebounds in the win over Georgetown on Sunday.

There was some thought that Zierden would get more opportunities after Mo Watson (ACL) went down, but it has not happened. He had averaged 5.5 points over his last four games. When given the ball, the senior has converted 48.0 percent of his 3-pointers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zierden scored 15 points (4-5 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with five rebounds in the loss to Marquette on Saturday.

Zierden started his first game for Mo Watson (ACL) and had a very efficient game. The team allowed the Golden Eagles to hit 60.0 percent of their field goals. While the senior won't provide assists like Watson, he could provide points and 3-pointers for the Bluejays.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zierden could move into the starting lineup to replace Mo Watson (ACL), the Omaha World-Herald reports. The senior is averaging 4.5 points in 19.5 minutes.

Zierden started next to Watson last year and provided 10.2 points and 2.2 assists over 31.7 minutes. He is a fine 3-point shooter at 42.9 percent, but the Bluejays will have to adjust to the lack of Watson's playmaking, particularly in transition. Zierden could provide decent spacing for the Creighton offense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zierden produced 12 points (4-6 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 28 minutes during Monday's win over Arizona State.

Zierden's playing time has dropped significantly since his junior season, to 19.8 minutes per game. He's been streaky from deep lately, hitting just 2-of-12 three-point attempts in his last five games. Zierden's value is tied to his ability to score from long range, so if he continues to hit shots like this, he could see his fantasy value rise again.

November 20, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zierden hit four 3-pointers to account for his 12 points in the win over North Carolina State on Sunday.

Zierden reached double-digit scoring for the first time this season. His playing time has been somewhat limited, but he may get more run now that he has hit 63.6 percent (7-of-11) of his 3-pointers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zierden has been a full participant in practice after offseason shoulder surgery, the Omaha World Herald reports. He said, "Im kind of feeling normal again. I feel good."

Zierden is a nice perimeter option for the Bluejays and averaged 10.2 points as a junior. He hit 38.5 percent of his 3-pointers. Hopefully, the shoulder injury will not affect his shooting stroke.

July 3, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zierden (shoulder) is aiming to return to all basketball related activities by the beginning of August, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reports.

Zierden was one of four Bluejays to average double figures in the scoring column last season (10.2 PPG). After taking a huge step from his freshman to sophomore year, Zierden progressed even further during junior campaign. The 6-foot-2 guard witnessed career-highs in scoring, rebounding (3.3 RPG) and assisting (2.2 APG) last season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zierden started but did not score in 19 minutes in the loss to Seton Hall on Thursday in the Big East tournament. He was questionable coming into the game with a shoulder injury.

Zierden finally played in the Big East tournament after missing the last two with knee injuries. He only attempted one shot and will look to get completely healthy for his senior season.
