Davis recorded nine made field goals and made 8-of-10 free throws to finish the leading scorer and with a career-high 26 points on Monday night. The junior also matched Patrick Owenu as Alcorn State's No. 2 rebounder (7), notched his third assist in two outings and logged a personal-best 33 minutes playing time in the defeat. The forward has now combined for an impressive 36 points in his last two appearances, but continues to average just 6.5 points a game as a 59.1 percent shooter in conference play. Davis' 3.9 rebounds a start versus league foes finds him presently ranked the program's third-best player off the glass, but pairs with less than an assist, a steal and a block each in SWAC matchups this year.
