Rodriguez exploded for 28 points (9-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds, five assists and four steals in Saturday’s 65-57 win over Wichita State.

Saturday marks the second consecutive game in which Rodriguez netted at least 24 points. The senior has not only emerged as Miami’s most reliable scorer, but Rodriguez is now the face of the team as it looks to make a run deep into March.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez combined for a season-high 24 points (6-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 9-11 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals during Thursday’s win over Buffalo.

Rodriguez picked a great time have his best game of the season for the Hurricanes. Every time Buffalo seemed as if they were about to pull within Miami, Rodriguez answered the bell. Up next for Miami awaits a scorching hot Wichita State squad. If the Hurricanes plan on advancing to the Sweet Sixteen, the game plan figures to start and end with Rodriguez.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez had 17 points, seven assists and five rebounds Saturday against Louisville.

Rodriguez had only eight total assists in his last three games after having at least five dimes in six straight games prior to this slump. Rodriguez's scoring success came in part to only attempting one 3-pointer, which he hit but is only connecting on a 29.5 percent clip from downtown. Rodriguez should have ample chances to contribute Wednesday against Notre Dame in what could be a high scoring contest, especially with Ja'Quan Newton suspended for two more games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez had 11 points, six assists and four rebounds Sunday at Florida State.

Rodriguez is finding a grove as a playmaker, having handed out at least five assists in six straight games. He's topped 10 points in five of those contests and is chipping in a few boards nightly, making him a fine bet Wednesday against Virginia Tech.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez had 17 points, eight assists and two rebounds Tuesday against Pittsburgh.

Rodriguez crashed the boards and tipped in a rebound to earn the 'Canes a 2-point win. He was coming off of a scoreless outing Sunday at Georgia Tech, but this was arguably Rodriguez's best game all season. He now has at least five assists in five straight games, scoring in double-digits in all but one of those contests. He's suddenly trending upward after some inconsistent play in January.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez failed to score Sunday at Georgia Tech, finishing with six assists and three rebounds before fouling out in 24 minutes.

Meanwhile, sixth-man Ja'Quan Newton scored 14 points while playing three additional minutes. Rodriguez has not been at his best of late, but had still scored at least 12 in five straight games prior to Sunday. He's not going to lose his job to Newton and will remain a vital cog in the 'Canes offense, but Rodriguez has left plenty to be desired for both Miami fans and fantasy owners of late.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez had 13 points, 11 assists, five rebounds and one steal Monday against Duke.

Rodriguez has never been a high percentage shooter, but he's working his way out of a slump of late. He's hit 4-of-9 shots in three straight games, and is 5-of-12 from 3-point range in his last two. It's resulted in double-digit points in three straight after reaching seven or more points just once in his previous four games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez had 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and five steals Saturday against Wake Forest.

Rodriguez is slowly working his way out of a shooting funk. He hit 2-of-5 from 3-point range after entering the game 2 for his last 18, a stretch of four games. He'll need to be at his best on Monday against Duke.
