Smith scored 24 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT) with four rebounds, three assists, and four steals in Louisville's runaway win over Temple.

Smith has owned Temple in two games this season, which lead to victories in both games. He will continue to be the focal point of the Louisville offense, and will need to continue his success to push his team deep into the tournament again this year.

Smith scored seven points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), with five assists, four rebounds, and two steals in Louisville's rout of Rutgers on Sunday.

Smith's seven points were far less than his team-leading 17.7 points per game. However, Louisville didn't need his scoring on Sunday as they won by nearly 50 points. Expect Smith to continue to lead Louisville as they finish up AAC play and head into the postseason.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Smith is averaging 18.4 points, 4.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds for Louisville on the season.

As expected, Smith hasn't failed to provide high-volume scoring for fantasy owners, reaching double figures in each of the 19 games he's played, including a career-best 36 points in a Nov. 24 loss to North Carolina. The biggest knock on Smith has typically been his lack of efficiency, but he's actually improved to 44.9 percent from the field and 39.0 percent from three-point range this season, making him less of a drain in those categories.

Smith will return for his senior season, Cardinal Sports reports. He averaged 18.7 points in the Cardinals' championship run as a junior.

Peyton Siva has graduated and Gorgui Dieng may go pro a year early, but Smith should help Louisville be very successful again in 2013-14, particularly in the new American Athletic Conference.

Smith will likely go pro, Sports Illustrated reports. Smith was just 3-of-16 from the field in the win over Michigan on Monday in the NCAA title game. He finished with a tournament-low nine points.

Smith had a good tournament run before the title game. He showed that he could create his own offense and could be a decent bench scorer (a Lou Williams, perhaps?) for a pro team.

Smith overcame tears shed when Kevin Ware broke his knee and scored 23 points (7-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 9-12 FT) to lead the Cardinals past Duke on Sunday.

Smith is an offensive dynamo. After the game hit a lull in the first half of the gruesome injury, the 6-1 guard brought fire in the second half to help the Cardinals coast to a relatively easy win.
