RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paige (foot) finished with a game-high 23 points (6-9 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go along with nine assists, five rebounds and four steals in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 81-79 win over N.C. State.

This was obviously quite a performance for Paige, as the junior guard posted season-highs in points, assists, treys and steals. It seems the foot pain that was bothering Paige last week is no longer an issue.

Paige was moving around gingerly after Monday's loss to Notre Dame and said he's experiencing pain in his foot, Adam Smith of The Times News reports.

Paige, who scored 15 points in 38 minutes, said he's been having "foot problems" of late, which have limited his activity in practice. So far, he hasn't missed any games, but his status is something to keep an eye on going forward.

Paige had just nine points in 15 preseason minutes in a blowout win over Belmont Abbey.

Paige took just six shots in the win, but that will not happen in the regular season. North Carolina Central won't provide much more resistance, but Paige should get more minutes to show what he can do.

Paige led North Carolina with 19 points in Sunday's 85-83 loss to Iowa State in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

Paige connected on four three-pointers while also accumulating one rebound and two steals. The bad loss certainly leaves a sour taste in Paige's mouth, but he had a breakout sophomore season, averaging 17.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 dimes per contest.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paige indicated that the condition of his thigh bruise is improving and will be fine by Friday, ESPN.com reports.

Paige's availability for the NCAA tournament was never really in question, but North Carolina will need him at full strength in order to make a deep run. He is averaging over 25 points in his last couple of games, and will be relied on again offensively throughout the tournament.
