Paige will return to North Carolina for his senior year next season, the Sporting News' Steven J. Gaither reports.

The Tar Heels will come into 2015-16 as one of the favorites to cut down the nets in the NCAA tournament, so it's understandable that Paige didn't want to miss out on that. Paige entered this past season as a pre-season All-American, and that may be the case again next season.

Paige led the Tar Heels with 22 points (5-14 FG, 3-6 3 Pt, 9-9 FT) over 29 minutes of action in Saturday's victory over Arkansas. He had six rebounds, but zero assists in the contest.

Once Paige made his first pass of the possession, the Razorbacks deliberately attempted to prevent him from regaining the ball, which is primarily responsible for the point guard not collecting a single dime. The 6-1 junior made his presence known on the defensive side, however, racking up five steals on the night. Paige and the Tar Heels will take on the winner of the Wisconsin/Oregon matchup in the Sweet Sixteen.

Paige finished with 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and six assists in 39 minutes during Thursday's 67-65 win over Harvard in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Harvard (22-8, 11-3 Ivy) certainly gave Paige and the Tar Heels all they could handle, especially during the second half, in Thursday's No. 13 versus No. 4 matchup. North Carolina held an 11-point lead at intermission, but the Crimson stormed back and nearly pulled the upset. However, Paige and company were able to hang on, advancing to a third-round battle against fifth-seeded Arkansas (27-8, 13-5 SEC) on Saturday night.

Paige finished with 17 points (7-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine assists, six rebounds and two steals in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 81-63 drubbing of Boston College in the second round of the ACC Tournament.

With this strong effort in the books, Paige will now lead North Carolina into a third-round matchup with Louisville. The junior point guard has reached double-digit points in four of the past six games while posting overall averages of 14.0 points, 6.2 assists and 2.7 steals.

Paige posted a double-double in Saturday's 89-60 blowout over Georgia Tech, finishing with 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 10 assists, four rebounds and four steals in 31 minutes.

After totaling just 13 points on 5-of-22 shooting from the field in consecutive losses versus Duke and Pittsburgh, Paige bounced back in a big way versus the Yellow Jackets on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Paige (foot) finished with a game-high 23 points (6-9 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go along with nine assists, five rebounds and four steals in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 81-79 win over N.C. State.

This was obviously quite a performance for Paige, as the junior guard posted season-highs in points, assists, treys and steals. It seems the foot pain that was bothering Paige last week is no longer an issue.

Paige was moving around gingerly after Monday's loss to Notre Dame and said he's experiencing pain in his foot, Adam Smith of The Times News reports.

Paige, who scored 15 points in 38 minutes, said he's been having "foot problems" of late, which have limited his activity in practice. So far, he hasn't missed any games, but his status is something to keep an eye on going forward.
