Dotson will not play another game for the Ducks, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

The announcement was made by the president of the University after the conclusion of a rape investigation concerning Dotson and two other Oregon basketball players. No charges will be made because of insufficient evidence, however there appears to be enough evidence for Oregon to dismiss Dotson and his teammates from the team.

Dotson's suspension from team activities Monday is in relation to a forcible rape investigation from March, although the Lane County District Attorney's office will not prosecute the case due to a lack of evidence, The Oregonian's Andrew Greif reports.

The district attorney's office said that while there is insufficient evidence to prosecute Dotson, "there is no doubt" that the incident occurred, and given the seriousness of the charges, Dotson's time as a member of the Ducks' basketball team could be over.

Dotson is not participating in team activities ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

Dotson saw a bit of a decreased roll in the past season, however he still played 24 minutes per game and averaged 9.4 points per game. The team has yet to announce why Dotson is not participating in team activities, but it could be an indication that he will not return to the team in any capacity. Dotson's role was set to increase again next season after many of his teammates either graduated or transferred, but this playing time may have to go to another newcomer.

Dotson will travel with the Ducks for their games Thursday against UCLA and Saturday against USC, ESPN's Andy Katz reports.

After he was cited for using a fake ID over the weekend, coach Dana Altman kept Dotson on the bench for Sunday's win over Washington State, but it appears the sophomore guard may not face any further disciplinary action from the team. Though Altman declined to specify when Dotson would return to the court, the fact that he's traveling would seem to bode well for his chances in playing in one or both of the Ducks' two contests out in Los Angeles.

Dotson was cited and released Saturday morning for using false identification to gain access to a popular Eugene bar, The Oregonian reports.

Dotson, who is averaging 10.7 points per game this season, was absent from Sunday's match up between Oregon and Washington State, this after playing in the Ducks' previous 60 games. No word as of yet when the sophomore may return to the hardwood, but fantasy owners will want to note Jason Calliste earned his first-ever start in place of Dotson Sunday against the Cougars.
