Seagers (heel) did not practice Thursday and is questionable for Saturday's game against Wyoming, Mark Anderson of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Seagers had an MRI on his foot earlier in the week that revealed a deep bruise in his heel but no structural damage. While his status is in question going into Saturday, Seagers did seem confident Thursday that he'd be able to play through the injury. "I think me being a competitor, looking out there and seeing my guys being short-handed, I can't sit (out). I'd rather go back out there and give it all I've got on a broken heel until I can't go anymore," said Seagers. If he's unable to play Saturday, Austin Starr may be pushed into the starting lineup.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

An MRI on Seagears' foot Wednesday revealed a bone contusion but no structural damage in his heel, Mark Anderson of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Seagears suffered a foot injury in Tuesday's loss to Boise State and had to undergo an MRI on Wednesday. Luckily there is no major damage, but a bone contusion could put his status for Saturday's game against Wyoming in question. The fifth-year senior has started every game this season and is averaging 9.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.3 rebounds per contest in conference play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Seagears had seven assists but scored just three points (1-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt) in UNLV's loss to San Diego St on Saturday.

Seagears has failed to reach double figures in the last three games and the point guard has struggled getting his shots to fall. In those games he's averaging 5.3 points and 4.7 assists per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Seagears posted 16 points and produced six rebounds and two assists Friday as UNLV knocked off ranked Oregon 80-69 at home in Las Vegas.

Seagears has been a model of consistency scoring at least 11 points in every game this season. The Rutgers transfer has taken advantage of the consistent playing time averaging 13 points, 4.7 rebounds, and four assists per game over his last three.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Seagears has averaged 11.5 points, 4.7 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 28.3 minutes per game so far this season.

After transferring from Rutgers, it appears Seagears has found a home at UNLV. His 28.3 minutes per game are second only to emerging guard Patrick McCaw, and despite shooting only 27 percent from three-point range, Seagears is still managing to shoot 40 percent from the field. The transfer senior will look to be a big part of the Runnin' Rebels' game plan going forward.

Seagears will transfer from Rutgers, CBS Sports reports.

Seagears, a junior, averaged 7.1 points, 3.2 assists, and two rebounds per game for Rutgers this past season. After transferring, Seagears will have one year of eligibility remaining.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Seagears is likely to miss another week with a sprained ankle, the Gannett New Jersey newspapers reports. "He tried yesterday and couldn't go through practice. It may be in his best interest to give him a week off, because we donít play again until next Saturday," head coach Eddie Jordan said.

Rutgers hosts Louisville on Saturday, so he'll miss at least one game. He's been out since Dec. 22 with the injury. Seagears is Rutgers' starting point guard and is averaging 9.5 points and 4.2 assists per game.

Seagers contributed 15 points, including three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, and four assists to the win over DePaul in the first round of the Big East tournament on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights face Notre Dame on Wednesday.

Seagers, a 6-1 sophomore, has scored 35 points and has hit seven 3-pointers in his last three games. He is getting more shots with Eli Carter (knee) out and is taking advantage of the opportunities.
