Rathan-Mayes had seven points, three rebounds and one assist against Minnesota on Monday.

The scoring mark tied a season low for the junior, who has been in single digits in three of the team's seven games while only putting up a 14 point season-high. It's early, but Rathan-Mayes is averaging a career-low 9.4 points, thanks largely to a woeful 19.2 3-point shooting percentage. His assists are holding steady at 4.4, in line with his career numbers, but it's safe to say Rathan-Mayes has been an early season disappointment with no signs of major improvement on the horizon.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rathan-Mayes compiled 13 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in a loss to Duke on Thursday.

The junior has posted averages of 12.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists over the Seminoles' last five games. Rathan-Mayes has been a constant fixture in Florida State's starting lineup, but he has been more of a distributor for the team this season as heralded freshman Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley are taking more of the shots. The Seminoles will look to end their five-game skid with a win against Notre Dame on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rathan-Mayes had seven points, nine rebounds, five assists and one steal Tuesday at Boston College.

Rathan-Mayes didn't connect from the floor, as all seven of his points came from the foul line. He's taken a clear back seat to freshmen Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley this season in the scoring column, but is averaging 5.2 assists, nearly one more than a season ago, giving him staying power at a bit of a discount.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rathan-Mayes is back in the starting lineup Saturday, Curt Weiler of SB Nation reports.

Rathan-Mayes sat out of Wednesday's loss to Louisville but he'll be back in the fold Saturday when the Seminoles take on Pitt. His 12.1 points per game place him third on the team in scoring and he consistently creates shots for his teammates, averaging 5.3 assists per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rathan-Mayes had a season-high 30 points Monday against North Carolina, adding four rebounds and three assists.

Rathan-Mayes got hot from the outside, hitting 7-of-9 3-point attempts. He has only one additional game this season where he's scored more than 15 points as he's taken a backseat to freshmen Malik Beasley and Dwayne Bacon. With the 'Noles now 0-2 in conference and facing a tough schedule that includes road games against Miami, North Carolina State and Louisville in the next two weeks, Rathan-Mayes' experience will be needed, and thus he could be in line for a small hot streak.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rathan-Mayes had 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists Wednesday against Mississippi State.

The assists actually represent a season-low for the guard, who has been much more of a facilitator this season with freshmen guards Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley doing the heavy scoring lifting. Still, Rathan-Mayes has scored in double-digits in all but two games this year and is averaging a very useful 12.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.4 assists.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rathan-Mayes had 13 points, five assists and three rebounds Tuesday against Jacksonville.

Rathan-Mayes has not been called on to score often this season, deferring to freshman Dwayne Bacon. It's early, but Rathan-Mayes is shooting 52.6 percent after connecting on just 41.6 percent of his shots last season, and he's averaging 11.0 assists in two games. It could be a different version of Rathan-Mayes this season, but one that carries plenty of appeal heading into a Friday matchup against Hofstra.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rathan-Mayes will return for his sophomore season, Bob Ferrante of Fox Sports reports.

Rathan-Mayes led Florida State in both points and assists last season, and will be a huge piece in their team next season, which should now return all their starters from last year. Entering his second season with the team, Rathan-Mayes has a high fantasy ceiling next season, as he contributes well in all stats except for blocks. He figures to be a first round pick in ACC-only leagues, especially if he can improve his three point shooting.
