Petteway has decided to return for his junior season and not declare for the NBA draft, Omaha.com reports.

After a breakout sophomore year where he averaged 18.6 points per game, Petteway wanted to check where he projected as an NBA prospect and submitted his name to the NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee. He must not have liked what he heard since he decided to return to Nebraska for another season. In general, Petteway was projected as a late second round pick, but if he improves his play next season he could move his stock up into the first round.
