Selden underwent arthroscopic knee surgery earlier this offseason, The Topeka Capital-Journal reports.

Selden dealt with a left knee injury throughout most of his freshman season, but now reports feeling more explosive after an operation. Already a stellar athlete, Selden is expected to shoulder a larger load for Kansas in the upcoming campaign, when he'll look to better his freshman numbers of 9.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

Selden will return to Kansas for his sophomore season, ESPN.com reports. As a freshman, he averaged 9.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.

Selden has a pro body at 6-5, 230 lbs, but he did not get a strong opportunity to show what he could do with Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid on the team. He could develop into a go-to player.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Selden has averaged 9.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 27.9 minutes per game so far this season.

He is often overshadowed by his superstar teammates Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins, but Selden is a very talented freshman in his own right. He likely will not see enough touches to be a consistent star this season due to the combo mentioned above, however his ability allows for breakout games every now and then.
