Collinsworth led all scorers with 20 points and added five rebounds, assists and takeaways each to his overall numbers Tuesday as Brigham Young fell to Valparaiso 72-70 in the National Invitational Tournament semifinals in New York.

Collinsworth connected on a team-high 8-of-16 field goals and went 4-of-6 from the foul line to both lead all scorers and top 20 points for the first time since Feb. 18 in Tuesday's contest. The native of Provo, UT also collected a minimum of five rebounds for a 14th straight appearance, was the only Brigham Young player to dish out multiple assists and matched a season-best five steals in the defeat. The senior guard finishes out 2015-16 having reached double figures in all but one showing since the first of January and averaging 16 points a game in conference and postseason matchups. To his overall totals in those outings, Collinsworth added 8.3 rebounds, a West Coast Conference-high 7.5 assists and two steals a start.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collinsworth logged 13 points along with nine rebounds and six assists in 38 minutes of play against Santa Clara Saturday.

Collinsworth has now scored in double-figures in all games this season except for three. The senior has also reached double-digit rebound totals in eleven games and double-digit assist totals in eight. On the season, the 6-6 guard is averaging 15.1 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 7.4 APG.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collinsworth tallied 18 points (6-10 FG, 6-10 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block in 36 minutes of play on Saturday.

Collinsworth is a very consistent player, averaging 14.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 2.2 steals in 34 minutes per game. He is often a triple-double watch, with his high passing and rebounding abilities. He has already notched seven double-doubles this season, as well as four triple-doubles. Fantasy-wise, he's a very attractive DFS option.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collinsworth recorded 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-9 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 31 minutes during BYU's loss to LBSU on Tuesday.

Collinsworth recorded his first double-double of the season in a disappointing loss. BYU will need Collinsworth to produce more if they want to compete with top-level teams. The senior guard averaged 13.8 points and 8.7 boards in the 2014-15 campaign.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collinsworth led all scorers with 28 points (9-22 FG, 1-1 3 Pt, 9-11 FT), adding eight assists and five rebounds over 35 minutes in Tuesday's loss to Gonzaga.

Collinsworth continues to provide some of the most consistent production in all of Division One basketball in his junior season with the program. The 6-foot-6 guard has already racked up six triple-doubles on the season, and is a threat to do so every time he takes the court. The Cougars may find themselves on the bubble leading up to selection Sunday, but Collinsworth will be one of the most exciting players to watch out for in the tournament if the committee gives them a bid.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collinsworth is dealing with a sore left hip/back, but says he will play Thursday against Pepperdine, the Salt Lake Tribune's Jay Drew reports.

He did not play in Saturday's game against Santa Clara, and now we know why. It's worth noting that Collinsworth may not be quite 100 percent healthy Thursday, but he should return to being a key part of the Cougars' attack.

December 27, 2014

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collinsworth posted a triple-double - 13 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists - in the loss to Gonzaga on Saturday.

This was Collinsworth's second triple-double of the season (19 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists in the Dec. 6 win over Hawaii). For fantasy leagues that offer bonuses for triple-doubles, Collinsworth is among the best picks.

December 24, 2014

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Collinsworth had his second consecutive double-double Tuesday against UMass, finishing with 18 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Collinsworth has four double-doubles on the year, and added 10 assists in one of those contests. His minutes restrictions seem to have been lifted, and Collinsworth should be able to raise his 13.1 point per game average over the season's second half. As such, he'll continue to be one of the better all-around guards in the country.
