Jackson bested 60 percent shooting for the second time since Jan. 9 on Saturday to finish the leading scorer and the lone player topping 20 points in the contest. The senior also recorded multiple rebounds for an eighth straight appearance, but a single assist for the first time in conference play this season in the defeat. The 6-2, 185-pound guard has now reached double figures in 16 of his last 17 starts and is currently averaging 17 points a showing against league opponents. A balanced three rebounds and 3.1 assists in 34.8 minutes playing time rounds out Jackson's current stat line per outing versus WAC foes.
