Ryan Harris
39-Year-Old
Free Agent
Retires from NFL
Harris (shin) is retiring from the NFL, 9News Denver reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite having one year left on his current contract with the Steelers, Harris will hang up the cleats for good. He appeared in just 62 out of a possible 115 games for five different teams due to various injury concerns, most recently ending the 2016 season on injured reserve due to a shin bruise that "swelled to the size of a baseball" and later developed an infection. Presumably having endured enough physical pain for his liking, Harris will now pursue a career as a co-host for a sports radio show in the Denver area.
