NHL Beat Writer - Colorado Avalanche

Part Time (Remote)

RotoWire is seeking a Beat Writer to cover the Colorado Avalanche on a daily basis. In addition to serving as our expert on the team, the primary responsibilities for the position include:

  • Writing individual player updates each morning before Noon ET while citing the appropriate local sources using Twitter, RSS aggregators, and other means for gathering news
  • When possible, writing relevant updates following the conclusion of regular season and playoff games
  • Ensuring the accuracy of database information for players in the organization
  • Contributing toward annual preseason projects including a Team Preview article and individual player outlooks
