Davis scored with his only shot on goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over Palace.

The gritty midfielder was rewarded for a season of hard work when Graziano Pelle's pass set up nicely for him near the six yard box. The box to box man ends the year with five goals and a trio of assists. Three of his goals came in his final two game this season.

Davis scored on both his shots adding four crosses and three dribbles in Sunday's 2-1 win over Tottenham.

The versatile midfielder put in a stellar performance displaying an unseen, thus far this season, and deadly finishing touch. With this game alone he doubled his scoring season tally and is now on four goals and three assists in 33 Premier League appearances. He'll have an opportunity to add even more to his fantasy account at home against the Eagles' fairly soft defense in a crucial for the Saints season finale.

Davis has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Newcastle because of an ankle injury.

Davis suffered the injury during last weekend's match against Leicester City, and he could miss up to two games because of it. James Ward-Prowse is one option to come in for him, as is Dusan Tadic.

Davis had one assist and picked up a yellow card in Saturday's 2-1 win at Stoke City.

Davis's assist came on a corner kick, and in his deep central midfield role, taking set pieces are his best chance of getting on the score sheet. Though all three of his league assists have come in the last two months, Davis does not deserve serious fantasy consideration as far as midfielders go.

Davis (hamstring) is starting Saturday against Swansea City.

Davis has missed three consecutive matches due to his injury, but he'll slot back into the starting XI, one that does not include Sadio Mane, Dusan Tadic or Cedric Soares.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Davis (hamstring) is back in contention for Saturday's match against Swansea City.

Davis has missed the past three matches with a lingering hamstring concern but should be good to go after being given the all-clear from the Southampton training staff. Of the 22 Premier League matches Davis has been available for, he's started 21, but has just two goals and two assists. His versatility is an asset to the Saints, but his lack of production prior to January makes him tough to insert into fantasy lineups.
