McInerney scored Portland's only goal in its 1-1 draw against Montreal on Wednesday. McInerney finished with three shots, two on goal, with the goal coming on a header from a corner.

Despite inconsistent playing time all season, McInerney has found the back of the net five times for the Timbers. When given the start, he has usually provided. If he gets the start in the next two home matches, he's worth a look.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McInerny scored a goal on six shots during Sunday's win over the Whitecaps.

McInerny was making his first start in nearly a month Sunday, and he responded with an extremely assertive offensive effort, putting his team up a pair in the 29th minute. The midfielder now has four goals to his name despite starting just three matches this season, and this latest performance could earn him another starting berth next week versus Chicago.

McInerney notched three shots and a single goal in 90 minutes playing time Saturday as Portland knocked off San Jose 3-1 at home.

McInerney sent a shot from close range past David Bingham and into the far corner of San Jose's net in the 52nd minute Saturday to put Portland up 1-0 over the Earthquakes. The 23-year-old forward has now accounted for three goals in five appearances this season and currrently trails only Fernando Adi has the Timbers' top scorer.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McInerny came on in the 57th minute to score a goal on three shots during Sunday's 4-1 shellacking at the hands of Orlando.

Portland was thoroughly outplayed Sunday, but McInerny was able to salvage some pride as he converted an easy chance crated by Diego Valeri in the 89th minute. McInerny now has two goals in three substitute appearances this season, but he is tougher to trust from a fantasy perspective as long has he continues to see truncated playing time. The Timbers will face the Galaxy next Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McInerney scored the lone goal for Portland in their 2-1 loss to San Jose on Sunday.

McInerney came off the bench in the 64th minute to score his first goal of the season. Donít expect him to have significant production this season, however, since the forward spot is packed on Portland with Fanendo Adi, Lucas Melano and Dairon Asprilla.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McInerney (leg) will start in place of Kei Kamara (suspension) on Sunday against D.C. United.

McInerney had been dealing with a lingering leg injury over the past few weeks but his return to the field will be an important one as Columbus jockeys for playoff position during the final game of the regular season. The 23-year-old has a total of 14 starts on the season, although 13 of them came with the Impact where he began the 2015 season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McInerney is dealing with a knock which prohibits him from being active against Toronto on Saturday, Andrew King of reports.

McInerney has only seen four minutes of action over the past month as he's now dealing with a knock in his leg after battling an earlier hamstring injury which also left him sidelined for multiple weeks. Even when healthy, however, he's generally only used in limited minutes off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McInerney (hamstring) was left off the 18-man squad for Saturday's game against the Timbers.

McInerney is a viable reserve option for the Crew but he's currently dealing with hamstring injury that will keep him off the field for a third-straight game.
