McInerney opened his account for Montreal with a goal in the 43rd minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Chicago.

Jack Mac was surprisingly sent off to Montreal from Philadelphia. Always one to be counted out and sold short, Jack will keep a chip on his shoulder to be sure. His chemistry with Marco Di Vaio was evident and that spells good things for the Impact and for his fantasy value.

McInerney scored what looked like it may hold up to be the winner, but Portland netted in the 94th minute as the the Union and Timbers battled to a 1-1 stalemate on Saturday.

A lot of weight is on Jack Mack this season for Philly. It was a big goal in a tough place to play, as the new-look Union raised some eyebrows despite conceding the late goal.

McInerney scored again in Wednesday's big 2-1 win over Los Angeles.

All he needed was the playing time. Jack Mac is on a tear, with all three of his goals this season coming in the last two games, and also coming without Peter Nowak at the helm of the Union.

McInerney scored in the second minute then added another one in the 42nd minute of Saturday's impressive 4-0 win over Sporting KC.

Jack Mac sent a message that he should be the first option at striker for Philadelphia now that Peter Nowak is out. Nowak hates playing young kids, and with him out maybe Adu and Jack Mac can become a dynamic duo in Philly.

McInerney netted for the first time this season in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Houston.

After Carlos Ruiz suddenly decided to leave Philadelphia during the week, it left a gaping hole at striker. The seldom used McInerney, who will clearly play a lot more now, seized the opportunity with his first goal of the season.

McInerney scored his second goal of 2010 in Saturday's 2-1 win over New England.

McInerney, for now, is known for his performance st the U-17 World Cup. He will be itching to make a name for himself professionally with Philly. Still only 18, the future is incredibly bright for the crafty striker.

McInerney added a late goal, the first of his MLS career, in Saturday's 3-1 loss to L.A.

McInerney is still just 17 years old. If he can develop he could be another young exciting striker in the U.S Soccer program. He doesn't do anything that jumps off the page, he just scores goals and competes as hard as anybody else on the field.

McInerney notched the only goal in the USA's 1-0 win over United Arab Emirates on Sunday to send the United States through to the knockout stage of the U-17 World Cup in Nigeria.

McInerney has been by far the most impressive player on the U-17's. He's been one of the more exciting American prospects to come along in a few years, and if he can follow the path of Michael Bradley and Charlie Davies, sign with a lesser club in Europe, get playing time and progress, he'll be very fun to follow through the ranks.
