Ozil scored a goal on one shot (one on target) in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Bournemouth.

Not usually the goal scorer, Ozil wrong-footed a shot at the doorstep to open the scoring in the 23rd minute. The goal was his fourth of the season, but slightly more troubling is that he hasn't tallied an assist since Dec. 28 (also against Bournemouth). While that would be fine for most, Ozil has been on a tremendous rate of assisting, picking up 16 in Premier League play alone this season. He'll continue to be one of the top midfield fantasy options moving forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ozil is starting Sunday against Chelsea.

Ozil missed last weekend's match due to a foot injury and will be making his return to the pitch. He's been in great form of late, even with Alexis Sanchez sidelined, though the Chilean is back Sunday on the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ozil (foot) will be available for Sunday's match against Chelsea, manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday.

Ozil missed last weekend's scoreless draw with Stoke due to a minor foot injury, but he was never expected to be sidelined for a considerable time. Ozil has been an elite fantasy option this season thanks to his league-high 16 assists, and he could have one of his top weapons, Alexis Sanchez (hamstring), could return this weekend as well.

Ozil will not play Sunday against Stoke City because of a foot injury.

The Premier League's assist leader has been a wonderful fantasy option this season, but he'll give way to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who manager Arsene Wenger indicated earlier this week could be deployed more centrally than normal.

Ozil was named Germany's national team player of the year for 2015, reports Sky Sports.

The award is determined by a fan vote. Toni Kroos took the honor in 2014. Ozil picked up just shy of 46 percent of the votes cast this season with Thomas Muller coming in second.

Ozil scored a goal and tallied an assist in Monday's 2-0 victory over Bournemouth.

Ozil continued his sparkling form with a perfect corner to the head of Gabriel for the first goal and played a tremendous give-and-go with Olivier Giroud through a crowd for his third goal of the season to go along with a league-leading 16 Premier League assists in 18 matches. The German international is in for a big wage increase this summer thanks to one of the best seasons in memory, which has helped the injury plagued Gunners vault to the top of the table.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ozil tallied two assists in Monday's 2-1 victory over Manchester City.

For the first assist, Ozil gave the ball to Theo Walcott in space and let the Englishman do the rest. On the second, Ozil played a beautiful through ball to Olivier Giroud, who finished between Joe Hart's legs to double the Gunners' lead. Ozil was taken off with a quarter-hour to play, but it seemed more tactical and a chance to give the German some rest ahead of a busy period of fixtures upcoming.

Ozil tallied an assist in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Aston Villa.

Without Alexis Sanchez in the lineup, Ozil's new partner in crime was Aaron Ramsey, for whom Ozil provided an inch-perfect pass that Ramsey tapped in for the second goal of the match. He's now up to 13 assists in the Premier League and is finding the consistency he's lacked prior to this point.
