Pinilla has been hit with a five-game ban after the red card he saw last weekend against Atalanta this past weekend.

Pinilla received two yellow cards in Sunday's 5-0 loss to Atalanta.

Pinilla attempted two shots and scored the winning goal after coming on in the 62nd minute of Sunday's 2-1 triumph over Inter.

Pinilla made two appearances (one start) for Chile during Copa America Centenario, taking three shots off target and drawing three fouls against himself. He takes his international record to 43 caps and eight goals. Chile are Copa America champions again defending last year's title after a second consecutive penalty shoot-out final win over Argentina.

Pinilla is leaving Genoa after half of a season to move to Atalanta, where he hopes to regain the form he showed in the World Cup, Football Italia reports.
