Pinilla, who nearly knocked Brazil out of the World Cup in the round of 16, has moved from Cagliari to Genoa, Football Italia reports.

Pinilla made only 16 Serie A appearances last season, but managed to score seven goals and assist on three others. Unfortunately, he was also assessed nine yellow cards, a fairly high total given the limited playing time.

Pinilla is far from a first-tier fantasy commodity in Serie A. Unfortunately, he has proven himself to be unworthy of fantasy ownership in average sized leagues. Even his value in the deepest of leagues is questionable at best.

Pinilla is expected to undergo surgery on his left foot and may miss two months of action, reports.

Pinilla had a real good start to the season when Fabrizio Miccoli was out hurt. Now that Miccoli has returned, this makes things more difficult for Pinilla when he returns.
