Walker is unavailable for Tottenham's Premier League opener against West Ham on Saturday.

Walker was considered doubtful to play, so it's not overly surprising that he'll miss out. He'll get a week of training before trying to play Aug. 24 against QPR.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said that Walker has not fully recovered from a pelvic injury, and the defender is doubtful to be fit enough to take part in Tottenham's opening match against West Ham, reports the Daily Mail.

Walker is doubtful to play next weekend, and could miss England's Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland as well.

Walker will not play in the season-finale against Aston Villa due to his pelvis injury, the club's official web site reports.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker (groin) has been ruled out of Monday's Premier League match against Sunderland, Spurs' official web site reports.

Walker was an unused substitute on March 16 against Arsenal, presumably due to injury, and he hasn't appeared in a Premier League match since March 8 against Chelsea. He will miss a great clean sheet opportunity Monday, and unfortunately still does not have clear timetable for a return.

Walker, who played in Thursday's Europa League match against Benfica, will have a late fitness test ahead of Sunday's Premier League match against Arsenal due to a groin injury, the Daily Star reports.

Tottenham are also missing Michael Dawson and Vlad Chiriches, so Walker could surely be used in the back.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker returned from a hip injury to start in midfield and play all 90 minutes of Tottenham's 0-4 loss to Chelsea on Saturday.

Walker was unable to play for England during last Wednesday's friendly with Denmark due to the hip issue, but he was never expected to be out for an extended period. Up next is another tough match against rivals Arsenal.

Walker (hip) will not be recovered in time to play with England against Denmark on Wednesday, reports the Daily Mail.

Walker sat out Saturday's match against Cardiff, and manager Time Sherwood said that he would not be ready to play for England on Wednesday. The defender is expected to return March 8th.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker had a solid game Sunday, providing the only assist in the match and helping to pick up a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Everton.

Walker and Danny Rose have made a deadly duo as attacking right and left backs for Spurs. It's very similar to how Gareth Bale started his career at Tottenham as a left back. It's key in fantasy soccer to use defenders who attack, to be sure not to limit the amount of fantasy points you can achieve. Expect Walker to continue to start and to possibly pick up another clean sheet Wednesday against Newcastle.
