Pedro (groin) is available off the bench Sunday against Manchester United.

Pedro missed the midweek match against Watford due to the ailment, and while he's fit enough for the bench, Willian, Oscar and Cesc Fabregas will make up the attacking midfield behind Diego Costa.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Pedro dealt with a minor groin injury midweek and missed the Watford match, but he trained Friday morning and manager Guus Hiddink doesn't think it's a major issue.

Even if Pedro is active Sunday against Manchester United, it's hard to recommend using him. The Spaniard has scored or assisted just twice in his last 17 league appearances. If Pedro can't go, Chelsea's attacking midfield will likely consist of Willian, Cesc Fabregas and Oscar, with Eden Hazard also a possibility. Fabregas will benefit the most if Pedro is out.

Pedro scored a goal off three shots (one on target) and added five crosses, three key passes and three dribbles in the 3-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday.

The Spaniard has returned to form over the last few games picking up a goal and an assist in his last two features. With two goals, two assists, 2.6 shots per game and two dribbles and two key passes per game for the season hes got the potential to turn every game into a fantasy tsunami for your opponents. Next in the queue is a home fixture with Watford where the Blues absolutely need him to continue his good form.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Pedro came on for the injured Eden Hazard in the 30th minute of Monday's loss to Leicester City, taking one shot, firing in five crosses and providing his second assist of the season.

It was an impact performance by the Spaniard, as he thrived in the free role vacated by Hazard and helped pull Chelsea back into the game. It is unclear how long Hazard will be sidelined, but Monday's performance could afford Pedro first crack at replacing him if he misses any time. Pedro has fallen off a bit after a bright start to his Chelsea career, but an increased role could be what he needs to get back on track. He would be an intriguing fantasy option for Saturday's match versus Sunderland if he finds his way into the starting XI.

Pedro (knock) is not in the 18-man squad to face Liverpool on Saturday.

Pedro has been a number of games already and was facing a late fitness test for Saturday's match, so even if he was fully healthy, he was unlikely to start given the time off. Chelsea will go with an attacking midfield of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Willian on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Pedro (knock) will have a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's match against Liverpool, manager Jose Mourinho said Friday.

Pedro has missed multiple matches due to the undisclosed knock, and even if he passes fit, it's unclear if he will start given the solid play of Willian this season and whether Mourinho wants to keep him on the wing or move him centrally to allow Pedro to play.
