Jones (hip) was unused sub in Wednesday's 3-0 victory over Everton.

Jones returns from his ailment but he only makes it to the bench. Whether he is fully fit or not probably is irrelevant since he's lost out his starting right back role to DeAndre Yedlin for a while now. He doesn't have much of a fantasy upside off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jones (hip) is available off the bench Saturday against West Ham.

DeAndre Yedlin will get another start ahead of Jones, though it's unclear if it's because the latter is just returning from injury or if the former has beat him out for the spot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jones (hip) was not in the 18-man squad to face Manchester United on Saturday.

Jones was highly doubtful for the match, which allowed DeAndre Yedlin to move into the starting XI.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jones is questionable to play Saturday against Manchester United because of a hip injury, the Sunderland Echo reports.

The Black Cats' defense is hardly a stout and deep unit, so the absence of Jones will surely be a hit. If he's unable to play, DeAndre Yedlin, who is on loan from Spurs, could start in his place.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jones hit the woodwork on two shots (one on target), two crosses and a yellow card in the 1-0 defeat to Man City on Tuesday.

Jones could've had a whole lot more out of this game but the post and the referee denied him a good fantasy outing. He's having a decent season for as far as a Black Cat defender can have a good season this year. He scored once and assisted on another occasion already this campaign but porous Sunderland defense (47 goals allowed) and 15 losses are dragging his fantasy value down. Another big issue is his discipline - he's now with eight cautions.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jones is eligible to face Arsenal on Saturday after a one-match yellow card accumulation ban.

DeAndre Yedlin got the start last weekend against Stoke, but Jones could very well slot back into the first XI upon his return. That being said, it's a very tough matchup, even with the Gunners a bit depleted by injuries.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jones is suspended for one game for yellow card accumulation and will miss the clash with Stoke on Saturday.

A new tactics rejuvenated the Black Cats and Jones was a key cog in that success. Now new man Sam Allerdyce would have to find a replacement for him and DeAndre Yedlin seems like one good option to fit in the right flank.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jones assisted on the go ahead goal in Monday's 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Jones sent a through ball to Jermain Defoe to put in the back of the net in the 80th minute to give Sunderland the win. This was his first assist of the season for the defending midfielder, however he looks to attack and push forward and may create more chances for goals in future matches.
