Butland made five saves and conceded one goal in a 2-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Butland has been great for Stoke this year, as he has made 35 saves in just seven games. The downside is that he has failed to record a clean sheet and that doesn't bode well for most fantasy formats. If you play in a format that heavily favors saves, Butland is a great option. He should be in line for another good start against Aston Villa next Saturday.

Butland made three saves and conceded two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Leicester.

Butland was strong throughout the first half, but conceded a penalty early on in the second half and had little chance on Jamie Vardy's strike to equalize. The Stoke keeper has acquitted himself nicely in the starting role since the departure of Asmir Begovic over the summer.

Butland registered a whopping 10 saves in Saturday's 2-0 loss at Arsenal.

Butland conceded a pair of goals Saturday, but if it weren't for his regular heroics, the Potters would have lost by a much larger margin. The young Englishman's remarkable tally of 10 saves from Saturday brings his season total to 27 through five matches, which leads all Premiership goalkeepers.

Butland made a few fine saves before being beaten by a Salomon Rondon header on the stroke of half time.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland registered six saves as Stoke City drew Norwich City 1-1 on Saturday.

Butland has been outstanding to begin his first season as Stoke's No. 1 goalkeeper, as he's now compiled 13 saves through the Potters' three league matches. Although he's conceded four goals over that span as well, the young Englishman has a favorable shot at his first clean sheet this weekend at home against West Brom.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland made five saves and conceded two goals in a 2-2 draw with Spurs on Saturday.

Stoke were bombarded in the first half and conceded twice, but they settled down and dominated the play in the second half. Butland will be hard to trust this season for clean sheets as the Stoke defense is simply not up to par. Look for him to have a better performance against Norwich next Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland conceded once while making two saves in Stoke City's 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Butland was hardly at fault for conceding the goal he did, an absolute strike by Philippe Coutinho in the 86th minute. After a quiet first half, Butland was under duress throughout the second half, saving a pair of shots before finally allowing the eventual winner. With Asmir Begovic off to Chelsea, Butland looks to be the first choice keeper for Stoke and acquitted himself well in his opening start of the season. He'll look to bounce back next week at Tottenham.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland is expected to compete with veteran Shay Given for Stoke City's starting goalkeeper position now that former teammate Asmir Begovic has been sold to Chelsea, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

Butland is fresh off playing for England in the European U-21 Championships, so he's yet to join Stoke for their preseason training program, but the 22-year-old could very well earn the Potters' No. 1 goalkeeper position this season. While Butland will have to beat out the veteran Given for that designation, the opening brought by Begovic's departure creates an excellent opportunity for Butland to emerge on fantasy radars. Knowing that, it should be worthwhile to monitor Butland's progress as the upcoming season approaches to see if he's indeed tabbed as Stoke's first-choice keeper.
