RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland conceded three and made two saves in Stoke City's 3-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Stoke are going through a bad patch at the moment: they are leaking goals and not scoring at the other end. Butland couldn't have done much about any of Man Utd's goals and his form has been good but until Stoke stop shipping goals, you should look elsewhere for your fantasy number one.

Butland conceded three and made two saves in Stoke City's 3-0 away defeat to Leicester City on Saturday.

After Asmir Begovic was sold to Chelsea in the summer, Butland has grabbed his opportunity with both hands. His performances for Stoke this season have been fantastic and he should treat the game against Leicester as just a bad day at the office. With Manchester United and Bournemouth on the horizon, there will be plenty of opportunities to put Saturday's performance behind him.

Butland made three saves in Sunday's goalless draw with Arsenal.

While he wasn't incredibly busy throughout the match, Butland got his money's worth on all three saves, stopping Olivier Giroud twice from in close and making a neat diving tip to foil Alex Oxlade-Chamerlain. Butland continues to excel in his first full season in the Premiership, and performance such as this are a big part of the reason Stoke currently sit seventh in the table. Butland will face another tough task next week, as the Potters take on Leicester.

Butland made one save on the way to a 3-1 win over Norwich on Wednesday.

The Canaries went down a man early in the game and couldn’t put up much of a fight against their hosts. Butland conceded from a brilliant Jonny Howson’s strike and made a fantastic save to prevent his net from another one. He is one of your top fantasy options at goal with eight clean sheets - second most to Petr Cech only with 9. However, he’ll be put to real tests over the next two weeks with consequent games against the top two Premier League teams – Arsenal and Leicester.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland conceded twice but grabbed three saves in the 2-1 defeat to West Brom on Saturday.

It was a poor performance for one of the best fantasy goalkeepers this season. The Baggies wanted the win more and put Butland under a horrific siege at the end with 1-1 on the scoreboard. He has allowed multiple goals in three of the last four, but he'll look to bounce back against Norwich the next time out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland made no saves and conceded three goals in Monday's 4-3 victory over Everton.

After an amazing performance against Manchester United fewer than 48 hours earlier, Butland didn't have much of a chance on any of the three goals; however, if it wasn't for a series of fantastic goals on the other end, Stoke would've been looking at fewer than three points.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Butland made six saves and three claims en route to a clean sheet and a 2-0 outstanding victory over Manchester United on Boxing Day.

Butland may have put the last nail in Louis van Gaal’s coffin with another a decisive and dominant performance versus the Red Devils. After a dreadful beginning of the season with only one win in seven games and no clean sheets, Butland has turned himself into one of the clear-cut favorites for goalkeeper of the season now hauling in seven clean sheets in last nine games across all competitions. Next up on Monday, just two days from now, is another tough fixture away to Everton.
